Welcome to Ms. Camacho's Classroom Fundraising Blog!

Welcome Parents, to our classroom blog! This blog was created with the goal of keeping parents involved and engaged in the events of our classroom. I am so excited to be able to communicate with you in this way. It is my hope that you visit, comment, and share this information often with other parents. Use it as a way to become in involved in your child's school activities, and share meaningful dialogue with them about their day. One of the biggest activities we are currently involved is our PTA's efforts in fundraising for classroom technology.  I urge to get involved in this worthy effort to improve your child's learning experience. 

There are several ways in which technology both enhances and improves the learning environment for all students. Students are able to design and complete projects to fulfill learning objectives in a way that is both enjoyable, and meaningful. Through the use of the internet, students have access to an endless amount of enriching information while school safety controls  protect students from material that is not academically appropriate. By learning to interpret information in an original and exciting way, students gain an excellent understanding of the material.

The PTA's is tirelessly working to accomplish the goal of providing our class with the top three items on our technology wishlist. The items will enhance the learning environment of classroom in unique ways. I have provided a link to more information on all of these items, should you be curious to find out more about them.

TOP THREE WISH LIST ITEMS FOR ROOM 7

1. A Digital Camera: With the use of digital cameras, students can record presentations, and visuals in any subject area. Students enjoy the creativity that comes from creating original images.  Learn More!  

2. A Projector: These machines connect to a computer in order to project the computer screen image onto the wall. This is an invaluable tool in order to demonstrate, and present information to the students in an attractive, engaging, and efficient way. Learn More! 

3. USB Drives: It is my hope that we will raise enough money to purchase USB flash drives for each student in the class. With these devices, students can store, edit and transport their documents to any computer. Learn More!
